BRANDON OAKS WATER MAIN LOOP
Project Start Date: November 28
Site Representative: Paul Schafer, 262-894-0304
This project is being done to create a needed loop in the water system so that in case of a water main break, water can be obtained from another direction. During construction, the following stages will take place:
- A stone tracking pad is going to be placed at the entrance off of Maple Ave. to help minimize material from leaving the site.
- Erosion control devices will be going up prior to any work at the site.
- The water main will first be drilled under the Pewaukee River so that the river is not disturbed.
- Next the remainder of the water main will be constructed.
- the contractor is required to topsoil, seed, fertilize and mulch any disturbed areas. However, due to the growing season coming to an end a polymer or matting may be used to minimize any erosion over the winter. Then in the spring of 2012 the seed, fertilizer and mulch will be placed.
If you have any questions during this time, please contact Paul Schafer at 262-894-0304. |
