The Village of Sussex adopted its revised Downtown Plan in 2004. The Downtown Plan offers goals for the growth and redevelopment of the "heart" of the Community. The Plan was initiated by the Community Development Authority (CDA), which is responsible for redevelopment and housing efforts of the community.
The CDA held many public input sessions to generate the final product. Please note that a plan such as the Downtown Plan is a guide for the Community to use. Items in the plan will undoubtedly change over time as economic and community factors dictate. The Plan is used when working with developer's on projects in the Downtown area.
