The Village of Sussex adopted Design Standards in 2004. The Design Standards were established to assist the community in ensuring high quality development in the Village. The Architectural Review Board (ARB) was also created at this time to be the public body who would review developments for adherence to these high standards and recommend actions to the Plan Commission.
